First Adult Cardigan

I still haven’t gotten the buttons on as am debating whether to redo the ribbing as I think it’s too tight. Should have used one size larger needle.

Ribbing looks good in the photo. Have you tried wearing it around to see if the ribbing stretches out?

Congratulations on the first cardigan! It looks lovely, the yarn is interesting and not busy unlike some variegated yarns. What colour do you plan to bring up with the buttons?

I bought some hand finished wooden ones made out of tree branches at a craft show last summer. They are the same browns/tans that are in the yarn. The picture doesn’t really show the lighter colors as tans and brown.

I forgot to post the yarn and pattern I used.
The yarn is Coffee Beanz by Plymouth and I used a top down pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple.

Super job on your first adult-sized cardigan. It looks so very comfortable, and the knit stitches are beautiful!

I bought some beautiful wooden buttons for a cardigan I crocheted, but then I didn’t use them because I didn’t want to have to remove the buttons every time I washed it.
