I am knitting a v neck pullover with short sleeves and want to know best way to create neck and armbands? Do I see some seams first?

What is the name of your pattern?
There are two ways to do this. You can sew the seams at the neck and sleeves first and then pick up the sts in the round to finish the collar and armbands.
You can leave the seams open, pick up sts and knit the bands back and forth. Finish by seaming the shoulders and neck as one piece. Seam the sleeves and bands as one seam.
Does your pattern suggest how to do this under Collar, Armbands or Finishing?
It is a king Cole pattern.
It does say join left shoulder seam. Is the left as you wear it or look at it from the right side?
