Well as a young knitter i feel very accomplished for finishing the persephone scarf (http://smariek.blogspot.com/2006/12/persephone.html) it has cable crossings every other row and while making it i had developed a love and hate relationship:wall: but i could not stop and now as i wear it i wish i could knit a digital camera to show you it:hug: but I cant. Anyhow i wonder does anyone have any suggestions for cable hats that could possibly go with this…:shrug: i love the scarf and encourage everyone to try making it

I’m not sure on hats… KPCmight have some you like…I bought thispattern awhile back but haven’t got to make it yet…isn’t the same pattern but I think it’s cute and it’s cabled :teehee:

oh, my…that looks great! i don’t think I have the patience yet for something like that!
That is a very nice scarf pattern. One just about anybody would love to wear. Maybe you could design a hat yourself based on the stitches in the scarf, with a little thought. When you get to the part of the hat where you do the decreases, just make it all stockinette or garter or something and that would make it a lot easier.

Oh my gosh! I have never tried to knit something like that. It is beautiful! I have never tried any cables or anything but I want to and I plan on it. What is the pattern for that? I will probably have to start knitting something that doesnt have so many cables in in, but eventually I might be able to knit it. Best wishes in future knitting!
