I have this gorgeous sock yarn forever and I finally got time today to sit down and cast on. :woohoo: I have done one other pair of socks, but they were just a ribbed boot sock on size 5’s for the hubby. These will be the Broadripple pattern off KPC on size 3’s.
I’ve asked to be enrolled in a sock knitting class at the LYS for my birthday so I can learn 2 circulars and magic loop b/c I love knitting socks, but am not too coordinated with DPN’s.
Cool I hope you have fun. I also teach magic loop socks and other knitting stuff.

Yeah, watch out! I started at the end of last year, and finished one pair. Determinedly decided not to fall prey to “Second Sock Syndrome,” I immediately cast on for the second sock.
within a few weeks I was working on my second pair… and I began to see the problem with that second sock. But I pushed through.
Yesterday, I had my first class on knitting two socks on two circulars! I’m really excited about this, and have about 2 1/2 inches done on BOTH socks! Whoo-hoo!
Yeah, it’s a little addicting. 
another sock fan in the making as well. i’ve done 1 pair that being honest i fgrogged a lot (doing michies class and could wait coz im such a big kid

i am doing pair no 2 properly with the class though, and loving every second of it. im doing from stash so cant wait to get it all used so i can buy some georgous sock yarn
congrats on making your socks. They are such great take along projects. Have fun on the different ways to make them. They are all great ways but I do love my dpns a lot. I am in the class with mitchie and love it. It is the magic loop and I love that one. I find it goes a little faster on making them.
So happy birthday and hope you get the class on making socks. It is addictive I keep making them for everyone but me. :tap: I have one lone pair of socks that I made for me and I hide them from my granddaughter, she steals them as fast as I make them.:roflhard::roflhard:
