This is something for me! :woot: It’s made with Caron Simply Soft bulky and a fun fur edge, using (my favorite) Knitting Pure and Simple pattern. Toby gave his approval as well!

Good for you, making something for yourself! I love Caron SS – it’s so soft, I crocheted baby blankets with it back in my crochet days. The black is a nice rich color, and you did a great job. Are there pics of you wearing it?

I have to admit that I am a yarn snob but I did enjoy working with this yarn.
I needed a big and fast pattern, currently on my needles; a cardigan for my MIL using size 6, then a shrug for me on size 5.
Oh and then the endless sock knitting haha…

I wish I could wear bulky knits. I am too bulky myself, so when I wear them I look like a bowling ball in a bowling ball cozy

LOL… Sound like my house. My cats love to play with my yarn as I’m knitting and my baby (dog) has to sit in my lap, or at least rest her head on me while I’m knitting. I’ve read it in someone’s signature on here that a project is never complete with out a little cat hair. I totally agree…

I was thinking of the same quote! Well my three cats are not very interested in my baskets of yarn. The only time they show any interest is when it’s big enough for them to lay on.
One of them can be laying in my lap while I’m knitting and won’t even go for the needles. They love thier homemade toys a lot!!

Oh my gosh Susan, most of the time projects on my needles are for others. It’s kinda nice being selfish with my projects right now!!! One of the projects OTN is a shrug for ME!!
