I have to admit, there were times I didn’t think I’d ever want to do another one, not even the mate for this one, but now I think I’m in the groove… The second one is underway. I gotta say, I love magic loop!
Finally! My first sock
It looks great. I really like the colors.
:happydance:it looks great!! I can’t wait to see the pair
Keep up the good work! It will not be long until you can knit socks in your sleep.
What a great job!! I love the yarn. what kind was it?
Pretty!
:cheering: :cheering: :yay: :yay: :yay: Good for you on keeping with it. The sock looks great . Well done :cheering: :cheering:
It really is a cheerful sock!
You are one and a half socks ahead of ole Artlady!
WTG:thumbsup:! Socks are addictive little knits, aren’t they?
It’s Patons sock yarn - I got it at Michaels.
Artlady - Ha! We’re all in awe of you, you’ve got nothing to prove by knitting a sock!!
KnittingNat - I never really had an urge to knit socks before, and just did it to prove something. But yes, I’m seeing where the addicting part comes in - I can just throw this thing in a bag and take it anywhere! Can’t do that as easily with a big ole afghan.
It looks great!!!
You did that on a Magic Loop? Wow, I didn’t know it could be done. Congrats, it looks great!
Oh, yeah! I think that has been my big hangup with socks, those durn DPN’s. I hate 'em. But I watched the magic loop video on this site, looked at Silver’s sock tutorial, and I was off and running! Then a friend loaned me a DVD called “Knitting Socks on a Single Circular Needle with Leslye Solomon” which helped me through the gusset and toe decreases. The whole sock, one size 2 circ! I’m loving it!
And thanks… :teehee:
Congrats!!! It looks great!
Congratulations! Great job.
Nice work! The first socks is hard to make, the other ones is much easier.
