Finally, My Denise Needles!

Yay!

Today when I opened my presents, I found in one a Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set! I’m so excited! I’ve already transferred an afghan I was working on onto them.

At first I thought my hubby got them, and I was very excited and thanking him when he smiled and told me to read the card that came with it. It was from an online friend that I haven’t had the pleasure to meet in real life, at least not yet. We’re quite good friends. I play an online game called World of Warcraft a lot, and a chap I had met online when the game released November 2004 asked my hubby what I wanted for X-mas. My hubby told him about the needles, and apparently one of the the packages that came this week (that my hubby hid well) contained the needles.

I’m so excited! I couldn’t tell him thank-you yet, as he’s away visiting family, but you can be sure I will never forget this, and as soon as he logs into the game he will be bombarded with Thank-yous!

Just thought I’d share my excitement.

Happy Holidays, everyone.

Nuu

CONGRATS!!! One of my friends plays WOW quite a bit too. That’s an absolutely wonderful gift!

I have 2 DILs that also knit and play WOW. I gave both of them Denise needles and I think they were a huge hit. I know one was, because she kept borrowing mine!

Congrats on getting it!!

whoo hoo!
I LOVE Denises!

YIPPEE!! Aren’t friends just a wonderful gift  ?!

World of Warcraft…now there’s something that nearly ruined my this past semester of college. Course, knitting almost did too, but who ever blames knitting for bad grades?

You can’t! Knitting relaxes the body and the mind… allowing the learning, teaching, and concepts to more easily penetrate and be retained in the mind.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Got a set for the holidays, too. Love them - can’t put them down. I’m an addict, I confess.
Enjoy yours!

i really started using mine for the first time last night and i found that they are going to take a bit to get use to. the points are longer than on my other needles so i have to get use to a new rhythm. However i do already like the feel of them better.

the one thing i do really like about that longer point though is that it gives the 15s more time to taper instead of a big jump between the point and the shaft…that always bugs me so that is nice…just need to get use to it and i will be perrrrrrrrrrfectly delighted!

My Denise’s just arrived today! Can’t wait to start using them. I’m thinking about joining the sweater KAL…
