I wish I had finished it sooner, because it’s getting too warm to wear (it’s Cascade 220, wool). But I really love the way it turned out. (It was in the fall edition of Vogue Knitting.)
Wow! You did a wonderful job on it! It’s beautiful!!
This sweater is absolutely beautiful and the perfect color for you.![]()

Wow is right! What a gorgeous sweater! Congrats on a job well-done! :cheering:
It’s a work of art! Nice color for you! And Cascade 220 is one of the best yarns around! Wasn’t it wonderful to work with?
MoniDew - NO, I’m not anxious for next winter…
ArtLady - yes, that was wonderful yarn to work with. I have to be honest, most of what I do is charity knitting, and I use “cheap” yarn from Michael’s, etc. but I figured this time, I’d go for the good stuff. It was SO worth it for the time I spent on this one!!!
Thanks, all, for the nice comments!
You did a great job knitting that! I love it.
Beautiful knitting and perfect fit!
Here’s another nice comment, WOW. What a wonderful sweater!
Just stunning! I’m sure there will be a day or evening left where it will be cool enough to wear! It was 75 here on Friday, and it’s snowing again today, sigh!
Wow, that is gorgeous! And a perfect fit. Hope you get to wear it some before the weather gets too warm.
it’s gorgeous!
Looks like it turned out amazing! You chose a beautiful color … it looks like it will compliment lots of outfits, so it will be sure to get lots of use! :yay:
