Continuing the discussion from Labelledame:
Hi Salmonmac ,
Thank you so much for helping me to complete the difficult execution of the k1below after a double decrease. Your final advice worked with no unravelling although the actual way to go through the four stitches was very hard to do and I had to do it a fair number of times over several rows.
By the way I did work a centred double decrease as written in the pattern and not a k3 together.
I also had to make sure that I kept to the pattern of 2 colours and the ‘slide’ to move the stitches down the wire, something I had never done before.
It was very nice to have Creations give some advice as well. You all try so hard to keep knitters on the right path.
Who would have thought that a double decrease combined with k1below would be so awkward to work!
You have helped me on several garments and I admire your advice and support for all knitters at every stage.
I hope to send a picture of the completed hat which I shall need in the colder weather.
Best wishes and thanks.
