Filigree Cami from Marzena Kolaczek

Need help understanding a section of the pattern. I just started the right back panel and knitted the first lace pattern rows but the next steps reads like this:

“Work as established in the last two rows, making the next does of the chart until you have 7 full repeats and the next 2 rows of Lace 1 chart in total. You should finish on the WS and on the 6th row of Lace 2 chart.”

not sure if anyone has knitted this pattern before but hoping someone has and can provide me some guidance and how to interpret the section above.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That lace on the back is gorgeous!

I’m not at all sure what is meant by “the next does of the chart”. Is that what it says, or was that a typo? Should it be “rows”?

Is Lace 2 what’s between the larger motifs? If so, and if my guess above is correct, I think it means to continue working the entire Lace 1 chart until you have repeated it all, 7 times. The photo shows 7 repeats up the back. You’ll finish on the wrong side on row 6 of Lace 2, which is a smaller scale than Lace 1, so the row numbers between the two charts will get out of sync. It looks like you’ll do the 2nd chart maybe 2.5 times for every one of the first chart.

If that’s not helpful, you can post a screenshot or photo of that part of the pattern and/or the charts, using the landscape icon at the top of the text field.
