My husband and I were driving around, and I was letting out a huge yawn but we hit a bump, which jolted me out of this long yawn.
I looked at him and stated “You interupted my yarn!”
Once I had explained to him that I was yawning, we both had a big laugh at my expense…

And reading this thread is causing me to yawn! Or yarn, whichever…hahaha
That’s fantastic. I did that not to long ago. I was talking to my partner and I was thinking about knitting, but was talking about something else. I don’t remember exactly what I said, but after it came out he looked at dumbfounded, and was like, I don’t know why I bother talking to you when you’ve just started something new.
I don’t know about you guys, but I also have a tendancy to call recipes “patterns” these days too…
I do that too. Anything that is some type of instructions. I cook a lot as well as knit, so I still call recipes recipes. We were putting together a bookcase and I asked Jason to hand me the pattern.
Y’all are all crazy! And so am I…I do it too.
