Does anyone else own the Fiber Trends, “Dandy Dog Sweater” pattern? I want to use it to make a Great Dane sweater, but even the XXL isn’t big enough for him. You follow different pattern instructions based on the dog’s chest size. It only goes up to 30 inches chest size, and my dogs is 41 inches. I thought I could just follow the pattern by looking at how many more stitches were added to the pattern as the sweater increased in each size, but it doesnt work out right. The # of stitches do not increase the same amount with each increasing size. Anyone have any suggestions???
You could use a thicker yarn to get a bigger gauge.
