Rnd 1: *K2tog, (k1, p1) twice; rep from * around – you will have 50 sts in this rnd. That’s the way it is written in the pattern I have 60 stitches in this round
Do you have 60 stitches before beginning this round or after?
I have 60 stitches to begin with & it’s driving me crazy…I do not get it
You have 60 sts and the repeat *K2tog, (k1, p1) twice uses 6 sts. You can place a marker every 6 sts to be sure you’re doing it correctly.
k2tog - 2 sts become 1
k1,p1 2x is 4 sts
so for every 6 you decrease 1 for a total of 10 decreases.
