I’ve never done felting. I’d like to try it. Is there and easy way? Are some yarns better for felting then others? Can someone take the time to give me a crash course? Thanx…Karen

Would felting a swatch give an accurate sample of what felting a whole (lets say) bag would look like?
it will give a good representation of what the fabric will look and feel like. Plus you can see how much shrinkage there is from both directions.

hey question on putting the felting on a mold of some sort. first off how much shrinking actually takes place in the wash? if i put a piece on a mold that is as big as the peice will it form to the mold or shrink and crack or something horrible like that.
i want to make this square handbag i saw. i don’t mind if it shrinks down a little in hieght but if the width shrinks i think i will be domed. the loom im using isn’t any bigger than ten inches. (I’m weaving this one, something different.) and the box i got to put the piece on to mold it is also ten inches in width. think it will work? :??
