Felting Yarn?

Does anyone know if Caron still makes a yarn named “Felt-It?” Or is there any company that makes a yarn that is comparable to Felt-It? I am going to Stitches South in April and will look there but thought someone might know if it was still made? TIA Beverly

Here’s the Caron website. I didn’t see it at first, but I guess it’s still made.[U]

Do you need Caron? Knitpicks makes a Wool Of The Andes (WOTA) that felts nicely. Good choice of colors and is reasonable.

My only two experiences with felting were with Patons Classic Wool Merino. I made two purses that turned out great with no refelting necessary.

Are you looking for that particular yarn for a particular purpose? I didn’t know if you realized that all non-superwash wools (and most animal fibers) will felt, so you’re not limited to a specific type of “felting wool.”

If you knew that, sorry…just disregard!

P.S. I’m heading to Stitches South, myself.

Thanks to everyone for your answers. I was looking for that specific yarn to match a tote bag I already finished. It still shows on the Caron website but when I go to the websites listed as selling it, none of them have it. Now when I think of it, I believe I purchased it during a clearance sell on Mary Maxim. So I guess I will go to plan B. Thanks to everyone. Beverly
