I recently started doing this and have done 5 purses for Xmas. Now that I have learned a little, I am ready to try slippers or hats.

My question is this: If after a project is finished and has dried, can it be put in the washing machine again and re-felted (is that a word?) if you do not like the size or texture of the finished item? :??

yes. I assume you want to shrink it further and/or make it more fuzzy, correct? you can throw it back in the hot water wash and monitor it carefully.
