Felting/bleeding question

I’m midway through a bag as a get well present for a friend. It’s done in KP cloud, grass, coal, and a yellow that I bought. Oh and red too. (think Hudson bay colors) Anyway, all that bright color has me cringing on felting the bag. I can just see the cloud absorbing some of the dye.

Would you use a color catcher? I’m leery with the fuzz or lint it might leave behind…

Any thoughts ?

Definitely use a color catcher. They are awesome. I use them with all of my new dark clothes now. They don’t leave anything behind.

Ditto - I would use a color catcher too.

What is a color catcher?

Thanks everyone. I will go buy some.

A color catcher looks like a dryer sheet, but you put it in the wash to catch extra dyes that might bleed onto other things.

If you can’t get a color catcher you might try vinegar.
