I am a “newbie” at felting but have been successful so far up to today’s project. The purse came out perfect and the handles felted perfectly also…BUT, the handles are about as long as they were before felting…same yarn…I have no idea what happened. When the purse has dried how can I shorte the handles?

Felted Purse Handles
The only way to shorten them after felting is to cut them. Once it’s felted it becomes a fabric. If you don’t want to cut them you could tie a knot on the side or top maybe?
