The pattern is from the January 2007 [I]Crochet! Magazine[/I]. However, you might be able to find something similar online.
I used a size I crochet hook and double crochet throughout (except for the part that was not wool for which I used single crochet and a size H needle to make the gauge come out right post-shrink).
Wish I could post the pattern, but, of course, it’s copyrighted.
I’ll make sure my “felting knitting” friend sees your hat.
I need to pop into the crocheting forum more often to see what’s happening there.
