Felted Flower Pattern Question

I have some leftover Paton’s Classic & want to use it for some felted flowers. I found this pattern, but I don’t understand something…

It says in the beginning of the instructions for Version I: “Do not cut ends before felting.” What does that mean? TIA

It means that rather than cutting of the long tails of your yarn, just leave them dangling when you’re going to felt it. :slight_smile:
