Felted clogs .... any videos?

I have the original pattern (AC-33x) and it’s written differently. :?? You have the newer version right? AC-33e?

Which part of the pattern are you on? Anyway, I’d still assume it’s for the sizes. There are a few places on my pattern where the same thing happens. If your size falls within the parenthesis just k1.

Yes, I have version AC33e.

I was stuck on row 31. I did not understand the numbers in the parenthesis … but I went ahead and assumed they were supposed to be stitch ct per size.

Here:

Row 30: Slip 1, p22 (22, 24 / 26, 28), p2tog, p1, turn.
(45 , 51, 55 / 63, 67 sts total on needle)
Row 31: Slip 1, k23 (23, 25 / 27, 29), ssk, k3 (1, 1 / 1, 1), turn.
Row 32: Slip 1, p26 (24, 26 / 28, 30), p2tog, p3 (1, 1 / 1, 1), turn.
Row 33: Slip 1, k12 (10, 11 / 12, 13), k2tog, k1, ssk, k12 (10, 11 / 12, 13), ssk, k2 (1, 1 / 1, 1), turn.
Row 34: Slip 1, p29 (24, 26 / 28, 30), p2tog, p2 (1, 1 / 1, 1), turn. (39, 45, 49 / 57, 61 sts total on needle)
Row 35: Slip 1, k31 (25, 27 / 29, 31), ssk, k2 (2, 3 / 1, 1).
Row 35 is the last instep-shaping row for women’s small.
Go to Next Step.
•Turn and continue for remaining sizes.
Row 36: Slip 1, p – (27, 30 / 30, 32), p2tog, p – (2, 3/ 1, 1), turn.

If you look at row 31 where I bolded, the numbers in the parenthesis are smaller than the original number (for size small) I don’t understand why larger sizes require fewer stitches. Then on row 36 it changes to p or k with a dash and then the parenthesis. That does make sense. I am just stuck on the change of language I guess and why larger sizes would have a smaller number than the smaller sizes.

Anyway, I finished the body. Unfortunately I think I really messed up.

:frowning:

After completing all of the rows for the body, it states;

Next Step:
The last instep row for your size will end at the heel marker. Do not turn. Work 1 round on RS as follows:
k2, k2tog, knit to end of round. (37, 37, 39 / 43, 45 sts)

I did not end up at the heel marker and I also had a couple extra stitches. I ended up about 9 or so stitches away from the heel marker and looking at it I think I had been working the wrong area towards the end.
I will post some pics tomorrow.

This project is really fun, but am feeling discouraged about the idea of having to unravel it all.
:frowning:

Until I figure out what I did wrong with that clog, I will start on the other and hopefully have better luck.

Thanks again for helping me with this.
