Felted catch-all pattern?

I want to make a felted catch-all. You know one of those basket/bowl things that you put on your dresser or in the foyer?
I guess that I could just make up a pattern…

try goggling ‘knit pattern felted bowl’ or knit pattern felted box’ - you should gets lots of hits.

Do you have the book Mason Dixon Knitting? Or access to it from your local library. I know it has a pretty good pattern for a felted box.

Use a pattern … unless you have lots of experience with felting … you could end up with a tall skinny bowl or a short fat one … or one with REALLY floppy sides … believe me I know!!!
