February 2020, Whatcha' Knitting?

Happy February, Happy Valentine’s Day!
All kinds of inspiring themes for this month. What have you been working on and what are you planning to knit or crochet? Let us see a photo, please.

G’day and happy February! I am knitting a newsboy-style hat for my sister, a pattern by Vicki Finster but somewhat modified because I am using sock yarn held double which is still a touch too thin. My sister will like it and wear it anyway, lol.
Current project, a cap for my sister

Sounds like a wonderful gift for your sister. We’re looking forward to seeing a photo!

Socks. Socks, Socks. And more socks. Husband’s request.

My husband’s very good at requesting things too!

Ah, but it’s a good excuse to buy more yarn without spousal objections.

A sweater from you know where. Not thinking I started on wood needles. But I did finish a dishcloth and made a scrubby this morning.

G’day to you. I am knitting another baby blanket as I am almost always since I make them not only for friends/family but I also donate them. I enjoy making them (whether knit or crochet) but even more I like buying yarn.

Handknit or crocheted blankets are so truly appreciated in hospitals. Thank you very much for making and donating them.

Your welcome. It makes me happy to make them for the babies.

Trying to finish a garter stitch scarf for my husband for Valentine’s Day. Using Mainstays variegated yarn. Taking forever!

I have 3 tests going right now, a dress for a 3 yr old, a dress for a newborn baby doll, and an adult tank top. I’m also crocheting a vest for a 6 yr old.

My sister requested a black and white scarf for her black winter coat. I found Penstripe on Ravelry - perfect. It’s more a template than a pattern, so I am studying others’ FOs for inspiration. Using Umina Mirasol which is perfect for this.

Beautiful scarf! Thanks for the pattern link.
