I have skimmed some posts about these clogs and it seems like WOTA is a popular choice, any other wool work good for these or should I go with WOTA?

WOTA is probably the most economical because you can get so many different colors for a cheap price. For a woman’s size 8, you need 5…not much more than $10 for a pair! Not bad!!
However, I’ve also used Cascade 220, and I know other people have used Malabrigo, Noro, etc.
The best part about clogs is how creative you can get with them!!!
patons is my fave for felting
I have combined WOTA (because of the colors) and Patons … because I can get it at Michael’s or Joanns or AC Moore with a 40% off coupon.
There are a couple new 100% wools for felting now at Michaels. Lion Wool and there’s another one too. However, WOTA is the cheapest, as far as I can tell. I have also used cascade 220 with success.
