I found a site that sells only koigu.:muah: There are so many colorways I can’t decide and can’t afford to buy every one. I want to make some scarves for Christmas presents. What are the favorite colorways of the group??

Personally I like 23 and 130, however you can find much better prices for Koigu than $12 per hank!!!

Still, such pretty colors.

please tell me where I can find koigu cheaper. I have searched this is the average price that I am finding. Thanks!

Thank you for posting this. I just bought 24 skeins of color #63 - shipping cost more than the yarn! :thumbsup:

Of course, this is the only one I found that was actually on sale, but an incredible price nonetheless. We’ll see if it goes through… :lol:

I found 63 on sale and promptly bought and paid for 10 skeins using paypal. I got a receipt.

I bought 20 skeins of the same color and got a receipt too!! Not my fav color, but my nieces knit and will love it!:heart:

I am willing to bet with this many people ordering SO much one single colorway, they’re going to catch on and our orders are going to be cancelled because it was an error.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I was checking on a site (can’t remember which one), and there was a Rowan yarn, and only one colorway was labeled as $0.00. So of course I ordered like 16 skeins, but they caught it and wanted to charge me over $100. I just cancelled my order.

ETA: I remember now! It was Knitsch who had the $0.00 Rowan.

A colorway is the combination of colors that is unique to a certain company. Some companies give each combo a name, like Lorna’s Laces, where their combo of black/white/gray is called Shadow, and black/purple is called Black Purl. Some companies, like Koigu and Artyarns, don’t bother with fancy names and just call them by their numbers, P128 or #617, etc.

ahhhhhh! i hope not :teehee: course, $0.19 for a whole skein of any yarn is practicly stealing, but still… if it’s a mistake i’ll be canceling my order too, since i am supposed to be on a no buying untill i finish a few projects kick. but $0.19, who can resist?:shrug:
