took me forever to make this blanket for my daughter’s 1st dorm room. shown here folded in half.
That is really beautiful. I haven’t had the nerve to try felting and I can’t even comprehend such a project as yours. I’m sure your daughter will love it.:yay: :happydance:
it is so pretty. i love it. love the color combinations you chose
ooh, that is beautiful, I love the bold, dark stripes with the pastel colors. Lovely
I have never even thought of felting a blanket
How big is it?
What type of yarn did you use?
Is it soft?
:passedout: wow…that is so pretty…I love the color combo you used
I can’t imagine ever finishing a blanket…doing one that would then have to be felted whew
Looks wonderful. Love the colours you used.
Those colors are just beautiful together.
NICE!!! How big is it?

That must have been huge before you felted it…
Warm and cuddly…
That is really pretty!
BEAUTIFUL!!
I would love to hear the “details”; what yarn did you use, what was the pre felting size and the post felting, did you use a pettern?
I used Knitpicks palette, size 13 needles, 3 strands of yarn, knit 1st and last 10 rows, then St st, except for 1st and last 10 sts. The widest stripes are 22 rows, black rows are 2 rows wide, repeat is twice. Felted it fits a double size bed, before felting it was 300 sts, I believe.
It was just slightly felted, in order to stop stretching and to make more dense.
That’s a really awesome blanket!!! I’m sure she’ll love it.
Is that stockinette? That is a lot of purling across the back then!
It’s beautiful and I’m sure it’ll keep her nice and warm!
that is a beautiful blanket, love the colours.
Wow, what a labor of love. It is gorgeous.
WOW !! That is beautiful !!! How big is it? How long did it take to felt? And finally, where did you “dry it” ??
Great work!
Dried in the dryer on low and air only
That is a lot of knitting. You have a real special blanket for your effort. Love it.
