Eylet Shawl

I’m looking for a simple open eyelet shawl pattern. Never made one so really need to see a pattern before I try to make one on my own. Do you increase at each end to make a triangular eylet shawl?

Yes, you can cast on 3 and increase one at both ends of every RS row. There’s several patterns for eyelet shawls, you can look at www.knittingpatterncentral.com and www.dailyknitter.com

Thank you Suzee. I’ve been to Knittingpatterncentral many times and although they have dozens of beautiful shawls, I can’t find a simple eyelet shawl. I’ll try the other site you sent. Thank you for your help.

Here’s a nice simple but really pretty one I’ve had on my list to do for ages. You can really use any yarn you want, it doesn’t have to be a lace-weight.

Note it uses one skein of the particular yarn Clara/the designer used. If you use a different yarn, especially a different weight of yarn, it may use different number of skeins.
