Eyelet holes for ribbon

:shrug: I don’t even know if I spelled it correctly but I need instructions on how to make “eyelet” holes or button holes to weave a ribbon through.

I’m watching Oprah and my brain is mush right now so I can’t even begin to think about how to do it!!! :??

If you’re meaning across one row, all you need to do is pair yarn overs with decreases, at whatever interval you want them to be. So for example you could do something like K5, yo, K2tog, K5, yo, K2tog, etc., just be sure that you have the same number of yarn overs as you do K2togs, otherwise your stitch count at the end of that row will be different.

I usually do an eyelet row using “knit 2 together, yarn over” around or across.

Hey thanks! But here’s another question;
I do the ktog stitches accross one row but what do I do on the second row? Purl?

It depends on whether you are knitting flat or in the round. If flat - purl, if round - knit.
