i am knitting in the round making my first hat and have started the decreasing rows. I find that i have 3 extra stitches! What do I do now? help!:mrgreen:
If you’re at the beginning of the decreases, work an extra round and decrease 3 stitches evenly spaced around. This way your decreases will be lined up.
If you’ve started your decreases and are ending up with 3 extra stitches, you can cheat and decrease an extra stitch (k3tog) at the decrease points to get even again.
