I just taught myself the magic loop :woot: and I’m busy making “sweat socks” for all my water bottles. I’m doing fine in stockinette, but whenever I try to rib I’m finding these annoying extra stitches on my needle at the end of a half-round.
Has this happened to anyone else? More importantly, how can I stop it??
Thanks!
Have you done ribbing flat? It is the same as in the round. One thing that can cause extra stitches is not moving the yarn back and forth between knits and purls. You can get yarn overs that add stitches. If that is not your problem I don’t know what else may be causing it. Watch real carefully when you switch ends of the needles that you are not making an unintentional yarn over there somehow.
