This is the Evening Star Top from the summer issue of Interweave Knits. I used Lorna’s Laces DK Swirl in Chino. The cables show up a bit better in person than in the pic.
Uber-cute top! I love it! I can only imagine how much cuter it looks in person. Good job!

THAT is better then the one in the book :happydance: Love the yarn You did a excellent job :woohoo:
Thanks everybody. I’m glad I went with this yarn choice. Well, I had already bought the yarn not knowing what I would make with it, and this seemed like it would work. It seems like it’s going to be a hard-wearing yarn, and it’s comfortable, too. The color, while not the most exciting color to knit, is probably the most practical. I did enjoy knitting it, and loved that the sleeves were super short.
Gorgeous!! I love seeing these magazine patterns knit up on fabulous (real life) knitters!!
That color is terrific on you too - nice knit! :cheering:
That’s beautiful - yours is the first one I’ve seen completed! :cheering:
God, that is beautiful!!! :cheering:
