So I’ve finally started knitting my cousins afghan for her wedding gift…just started yesterday and I’m on the 2nd square…still trying to understand entrelac and hoping this comes out good…here’s the pattern I’m following and I’ll keep you guys all updated as it goes

well their wedding colors were pink and green so I’m doing it in white, pink(fushcia), purple, maybe the green not sure yet…i initially was going to do a different one so bought only 3 colors and being that pink is her favorite color and her husband is ok with it…i’m thinking of keeping it mainly pink

My grandson just asked me to make him a checkerboard blanket in red & blue in time for Christmas. I really need a pattern JUST LIKE THIS!
so I’m thinking of adding a 4th color just so I don’t have the fuschia and purple next to each other…at first I was thinking of getting the black…but now I think I’m gonna go with a dark grey…I’m using Lion Brand wool-ease
oooh! I think gray and pink (or fuchsia, or lavender) is a very elegant, sophisticated color scheme - throw in some teal!
