How many ends of yarn are there to work in using entrelac if you use more than one color of yarn? Every row? Or is there a secret to it? TIA
The rows are done as blocks and you do them in tiers or sections. You only change the color when you’re at the very edges, so there should only be 2 per tier. It depends on how long you make it as to how many ends total.
Here is a good pattern to help you try out entrelac
this dishcloth is done in all knit instead of knit and purl like entrelac but the method is essentially the same.
It’s an awesome way to use a yarn that has colour changes, then there is no ends to weave in but you look really clever

Thanks for all the replies. I am out of work for another 18 days due to surgery and thought it would be something interesting to learn. I am getting BORED!! All this time to clean house and I cannot. Thank goodness I can lift those knitting needles!!
