Entrelac in the round…I made left rectangles first, not right triangles. Is that going to make a difference?
Welcome to KH!
What is the name of your pattern?
Many entrelac projects start with triangles so that you have a straight line at the edge. The second tier is then rectangles that build on the first tier triangles.
So it depends on the kind of starting edge you would like or the pattern requires.
Here is the pattern. I have screwed this up sooooo many times. I just ripped it to the base triangle “again” today. I am not doing this in garder stitch. I am knitting one side, pulling the other.
This is a very hard bag to do.
Thank you for responding.

It takes some work to get your head around entrelac. This is the best tutorial I’ve found and it’s from the fabulous Eunny Jang.
At the end is a note about working in the round. In a way, it’s easier than working flat since you won’t need to work the side triangles.
I like to check once I start a tier that I’m going in the correct direction. Maybe making a smaller piece just to work out the changes in direction would help? It’s a stunning bag and a good technique to have experience with.
See how it goes and let us know if it’s still a problem. Maybe a photo if you get stuck again would help.
Thank you. I will send a photo when I get stuck again. Teresa
