Ending with K, or ending with P?

Hello:

Having trouble with a striped baby sweater. Working in the round and the instructions say for the back “end with K row”. Then for the front the instructions say:“End with P row”. Does that mean you stop knitting before, or after, the K row? Before, or after the P row?

Wishing all best wishes for holidays

Stop knitting after the K or P row.

Working in the round and the instructions say for the back “end with K row”. Then for the front the instructions say:“End with P row”.

There’s a bit of a conflict…row vs round. You’re working ITR? Or flat? Or you did the body ITR and are now working flat?

It’s not necessarily a conflict, maybe just a typo. Or it may be that the knitting in the round stops, like at an underarm, and you’re supposed to be knitting flat for the fronts or back.

Oh–You gals are sSOO smart! I am thrilled to know you!

 1. Yes, I am knitting in the round to the armholes, and then separately for back and front!

 2. What doe ITR mean?

Thank you for your time and care!

ITR would be “in the round”
