When a pattern says to end with Rnd1 (purl row) do you purl that Rnd1 row or leave it??? New knitter…trying to make socks
I believe it means you end with the purl row -meaning you do the purl row last and then finish off but I’ve never done circular knitting so hopefully someone who has can help!
Out of interest for me. If you do the purl row aren’t you then going to do another cast off row? or are they saying really to cast off in purl…hmmmm :??
I would have done the purl row and then cast off in knit.
thanx susan…i am knitting socks for the first time and working on the heel flap…the directions say to end with rnd1 (purl row) before turning the heel…i believe i am suppose to do that purl row…i am using double pointed needles
If it says to end with a purl row, then work the purl row before starting the next instructions.
