Hi!
I have a pattern that calls for an Emily Ocker cast on (it’s a hat knit from the top down). After much trial, error and frustration, I got the stitches on my needles and knit a few rounds. The problem is, the hole in the middle isn’t small like in the picture, it’s 1/2" in diameter! Does anybody have any suggestions on how to clean that up a bit? I started over a few times to see if I could get it tighter, but no luck. If worse comes to worse, a hole in the top of a hat isn’t horrible, I guess…
Oh, and the pattern calls for 8 stitches cast on, then the first round is k1f&b all around so you have 16 stitches right away. Would knitting a round in those 8 stitches help?
Thank you!
