hi everybody.
thanx to this site i just completed my first piece of knitting. it’s only just some pulse-warmers, but i feel like i completed something monumental.
but now i would like to embroid something on them and i don’t know the appropriate stitch. :??
can anybody tell me, what that stitch is called or has a description of it? thanks a lot.

Embroidery on something knit
I think you could use whatever st you like, but a lot of knit designs call for decoration of the existing sts called duplicate stitch…basically using a yarn needle do your color design following on top of each individual stitch.
