Eeeeeasy Cardigan?

I’m looking for a pattern for a shaped cardigan/jacket thats not to difficult.
I really like http://www.knitty.com/issuewinter05/PATTstarsky.html but I think I should start with something a little easier!

Any suggestions?

You could do Starsky in stockinette - skip the cables. Or do it in wide ribbing, like k6 or 8, p2.
