I am noticing on my knitting projects that one edge ( usually the bing off ) looks a lot neater than the cast on. Any suggestions on how I can fix this ? 
What cast on do you use?
GG’s right that it depends on the cast on that you use. I’m growing very fond of the tubular cast off and thinking about combining it with a tubular cast on. It’s one of the suggestions made here by the ever inventive TechKnitter.
