I am knitting the Camden baby sweater and am at the edging. I am a very visual learner and the directions are not making any sense to me. Is there a video tutorial for this or can someone please explain the directions?
Edging on Camden Baby Sweater
Welcome to KH!
Maybe this one?
There is a video tutorial for the edging. The basic idea is that the edging is worked at 90 degrees to the sweater and on every other row you purl together one stitch from the edging and one stitch from the body of the sweater.
Thanks, I did see this one, I’ll try looking at it again. I think I’m over thinking how to do it. I’ll just go for it and pull it out if it doesn’t look right and keep trying!
That’s the knitter’s approach. It can always be ripped out and redone!
Sometimes these directions make more sense when you confront the sts on the needles.
You might put a lifeline into the hem sts so that if necessary it’ll be easier to reclaim these sts.

This isn’t precisely your situation but see if it helps with the concept. See especially after 1:30min.
Thank you! The video was helpful to see it actually being done.
I figured it out! Thank you so much. I was completely over thinking it and the video helped me visualize what I needed to do.
Wonderful! I’m so glad you’re back on track with this cute sweater. We’d love to see a photo when you finish.
