I am going insane trying to find a pattern for an edging that will work on this little ballet sweater. The pattern calls for a crocheted edge (cute scalloped shell like thing) and I CAN NOT crochet. Silly me, I thought that finding a similar knitted edging would be easy. The problem that I am running into is that most of the patterns I find that might work end up with the scalloped edge being on the cast on end. This edging will be added by picking up and knitting the stitches on the border of the sweater…so the scalloped portion (wavy end) needs to be toward the cast off side.
There just has to be a way to do this. This is a link to a picture that is almost exactly like the edging the pattern called for.
