Just wondering if anyone sells their knitting on ebay or in craft shows. How do you go about pricing your wares? Do you wash all the items before selling?
Thanks

I have never sold any of my knitting on eBay, but have seen other people’s knitted items…scarves and such, seemed to me like the people selling them were practically giving it away. If you do sell yours on ebay, be sure to ask enough, and take in consideration all the time and effort you put into what you have knitted. Hope this helps…
And remember that many (if not most) published patterns, even if free on the web, are copyrighted and you may need to get the designers permission to sell things made from them. Of course you can always get around this by designing your own.
I have sold both in stores and online. Online is a little harder because you have to decide what to charge. I’d like to say there is a great formula, but there isn’t. You just decide your price, and if it doesn’t sell, you lower it!
Boutiques and stores are easier, because the owner or manager can usually give you a good idea of what their customers are used to paying for things.
