Easy decrease in hat

Hello I have almost finished a mans hat using circular needles I have 96stiches, can anyone suggested a easy decrease. Many Thanks

I use k2tog and that’s what most patterns for simple hats seem to call for.

I usually use a multiple of 10 and k2tog. I always use markers between decreases. Easy peasy.

I like to K2 together all around. The next row would be knit all around. K2 together all around. Knit all around. Then k2tog all around for the next two rows until I’m down to about 8-12 stitches. Cut the yarn and draw the yarn through all stitches. Fasten off. If I knit the hat in k2, p2 ribbing for the entire length of the hat, then it would be k2 tog, p2 tog all around rather than the k2 tog all around. these decreases from starting to ending row come out to about half an inch. Total length of an adult hat: 7 1/2 inches plus the half inch for the decreases if knitting this as a beanie. Add one to three inches if you want a cuff that folds up. This is for a hat that will cover the ears. We live in the Frozen Tundra here.

Doesn’t that make it sorta bunched up with that many decreases??
