I am still fussing with this ear warmer. Now I decided to put in on 5m needle instead of 8m 10sts=4" I thought I would cast on 10 sts
row 1 K2, *K1, P1 3times
row 2 K2, *Pl, K1 3times
so I will have a edge of garter for 2 sts and 6sts for moss. Will that work? Also Amy’s video said to slip the first sts to prevent a big stitch at the sides. If it is a K slip knitways, if it is a P slip it purlways. My question is if I am doing a garter stitch I am to K every row so when I slip it and it is a P but I want it to be a K which way do I slip it?
I forgot to say that I am doing K2 and the end too.
With garter stitch on the edges you don’t really need to slip the edge stitch.
