Dumb question

This is a dumb question.

I made the nautilus hat from Marnie Maclean’s website, but I bound off too tight. Is there a way to remedy this, or should I give this hat to someone with a smaller head and knit another? :frowning:

No question is dumb!!

Just take out the bind off and do it more loosely. The only stitch that will give you a hard time is the last one where you pulled the yarn through. After that, just pull the yarn and they’ll pop out one by one and you can insert your needle. Maybe you can just bind if off with a bigger needle.

Thanks so much Ingrid! I’ve been trying to finish this for a while, and I hate that it doesn’t fit…Will have to do that one day next week!
