I like them because they are very feminine looking like little ballet slippers and you can embellish them with buttons on the toes, one lady here put flaps across the top, etc. They use bulky wool yarn and boy are they a quick knit. I used the knitpicks wool of the andes bulky for the bottoms and the wool of the andes hand dyed for the tops.
