DROPS pattern help :(

I’m a beginner knitter and I’m illiterate when it comes to reading charts. :eyes: Would anyone be kind enough to decipher this diagram into written pattern?

(sorry I can’t post links, I’m a new member)

From what I gather is that after the cast on, I’m supposed to switch yarns but it differs from a close up image.

Another thing that isn’t specified is if this was worked in the round or
seamed later. I assumed on the round since the pattern requires a
circular needle.

This is gorgeous neck warmer.
If you look at the directions under neck warmer, it mentions working in the round in the first line.
The instructions are to cast on (and later cast off) with 2 strands of the Alpaca Silk and then continue with only one strand of the same yarn. I assume this is to give a bit of strength and body to the cast on. It won’t necessarily be detected in the photos.
The yarn changes are indicated in the chart. On row 5 you’ll switch to the Baby Merino (the chart is worked from the bottom up).
