Dropping wrapped stitches

I’ve started a scarf that uses dropped wrapped stitches to form a wavy striped pattern. Immediately following row with the wraps the pattern reads:

Row 4: knit with ball #2
Next row dropping all the wrapped stitches
Row 5: knit with ball #3

I’m unsure whether I’m supposed to drop the wraps while knitting row 4, or knit them in row 4 and drop them in row 5.

Which row do you wrap them on? It has to be the row after that one. I think…

I’m wrapping them on row 3.

Ok then, you have to drop them on row 4. I think the instructions mean that you start color 2 on that row, and drop the stitches there too. It’s worded oddly.
