Dropped Stitch Poncho question

Hi I am trying to knit a poncho. The instruction indicate on the last row, knit 3 sts and drop the 4th st, knit 2 sts, drop one st. I am not sure about “drop the 4th st etc”. Does this mean you just drop the stitch and go on to the next stitch? Am I not to worry about the dropped stitch? Also does anyone know of a website that demonstrates this technique? Thanks

I think the idea is that you [I]want[/I] that stitch to unravel down to the bottom.
